The Poster Design Contest from PrintPlace.com is now open for entries! Submit any original poster design, whether it is one you have designed professionally or one you specifically design for this contest, and become one of the three finalists to win awesome prizes! No purchase necessary and no entry fee required to enter and win!
Deadline
Send in your original poster designs between September 7, 2010 at 12:00 AM (CDT) and October 22, 2010, by 11:59 PM (CDT), to be included in the contest. Entries submitted before or after these dates will not be considered.
Eligibility
You must be a US resident to submit an entry and all participants are personally responsible for following the requirements of the official rules.
Design Guidelines
All posters submitted must be at least 11”x17” in size and a maximum of 18”x24”. Files must be less than 10 MB in file size. Only entries submitted in the following formats will be accepted: PDF, TIFF, JPEG, or EPS. All designs must be original, designed by the submitter.
Submission Requirements
Typography must be included in the design, but graphics are optional. DO NOT submit copyrighted or trademarked materials. Also DO NOT submit any inappropriate, indecent, obscene, distasteful, hateful, or defamatory designs. Such actions will result in disqualification.
Entry
To enter, submit the designs you wish to enter in the contest to designcontest@printplace.com. All designs must include the entrant’s name, address and telephone number in the body of the email.
Judging
Submit your entry by the deadline (September 7th, 2010, by 11:59 PM CDT) to be considered. The top three finalists will be chosen by September 10th, 2010. On September 10th, 2010, the top three finalists will be contacted by email or phone.
PrintPlace.com will then post the top three finalist’s poster designs on the PrintPlace.com blog- http://blog.printplace.com, and the public will vote for their favorite design. Voting will take place for 10 days, after which the contest winner will be notified by phone on October 1st, 2010.
Judging for the top three finalists will be based on Artistic expression (creativity and use of space), use of typography, uniqueness/originality, and compliance with the contest rules and guidelines.
Voting Rules and Regulations
Public voting begins at http://blog.printplace.com at 12:00 AM (CDT) on September 20th, 2010 and ends at 11:59 PM (CDT). The voters must be 18 years of age or older. Only one vote per person per day is allowed. Violation of these voting regulations will result in a cancellation of all your votes as well as a restriction from any further voting participation.
Prizes
Every qualified entry will receive 250 free business cards. The Grand Prize is One Apple iPad plus $500 printing credit with PrintPlace.com and the winning design will be featured on the PrintPlace.com poster product page. The Second and Third Prize winners will receive a $100 printing credit with PrintPlace.com.
